Best biopunk SF to come out of Japan in DECADES! Knights of Sidonia has a strong storyline, great characters, and incredible mecha and design. Tsutomu Nihei should be very proud of the anime version of his work. Can't wait to see a second short series.
Not as completely horrible as I expected. I could do without the little girl in the story, and the original WitchBlade character from the US comic is no airhead like the anime version, but so far, so good.
